On October 14, 1996, Jet Ventures International Inc. was founded as a USA consulting company. One of its co-founders, James Large wanted to share his TFE731 experience, technical assistance and customer support knowledge with the Corporate Aviation Community. James experience includes, Sr. TFE Programs for Customer Support, US and International Sales and Purchasing, Material and Shipping Mgt. for Garrett Aviation. He was also instrumental in assisting AlliedSignal (Honeywell) launch the first TFE Aftermarket Customer Support Program while visiting customers to present invoicing and understand their needs and support requirements. At each opportunity he reduced the operators’ maintenance cost by using his years of experience to produce a number of options to meet the operators’ maintenance requirements.
In September of 1997, Jet Ventures International Inc. teamed up with Martin Aviation to provide airframe and engine maintenance as a Honeywell Authorized TFE 731 and TPE331 Line Service Center. Located on Orange County’s John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California. Jeremy Large joined the operation to support the customer’s parts requirements. The hangar operation is still in effect. In addition, Jet Ventures has since expanded its operation to include an 8,500 sf Line TFE731 and TPE331 FAA, EASA certified repair station that currently processes Honeywell’s Ship-In rental engines. They are inspected, repaired, preserved, return to service and stored at JVI for US and International requirements as authorized by Honeywell. Jeremy Large now heads up the maintenance, the database requirements and its administrative processes.
